Vinny Finigan and Brendon Rawlins score hat-tricks as Keighley romp to victory

Vinny Finigan and Brendon Rawlins both touched down for hat-tricks as Keighley Cougars cruised to a 74-6 home win against Hemel Stags and moved back into second place in Kingstone Press League One.

Winger Finigan and Australian forward Rawlins went over twice each in a first half which saw the Cougars score three tries in the opening eight minutes and the pair secured their respective hat-tricks in the second.

There were also tries for Darren Hawkyard, Paul White, Hamish Barnes, Rikki Sheriffe, Joshua Lynan, Ross Peltier, Matt Bailey, Ritchie Hawkyard and John Oakes, while Paul Handforth was successful with seven conversions.

Hemel, whose only try from Aaron Hall in the 11th minute was converted by Ben Stead, remain third from bottom in the table.
