Youth Players dominated the rugby League action at the Stags on the weekend with some impressive performances.

With the Southern Conference League team not in action - and the players having a bonding day at the Epsom Derby - it was left to  a young reserve team to travel to Bedford to take on the Tigers in an East Region Premier Division clash. New USA signing Pierce Amstrong impressed sufficiently to be in contention for a first team spot while 16 year old half back Callum Earey - in only his second senior game - impressed in this key position and also kicked six conversions. 17 year old Sean Wilkes also stood out on the wing.

The Under 13's entertained London Skolars at Pennine Way. The previous match between the two sides saw 104 points scored and the weekend's result showed an small improvement in both team's defences with Hemel doing the double with a 46-30 win.

There was a shock with the Stags Under 16's Gold team who paid the price for fielding a weakened side when they were thrashed 46-6 away at Elmbridge Eagles to throw the Under 16 competition wide open.

The U14's were without a fixture as were the Under 16's Blue team.
