After a great fight back last weekend against Coventry, Dean Thomas fel that things are on the up for the Stags.

"We know that if we start games better, we can win them" said Dean. "Giving a team a 30 minute start and a 16 point lead like we did against Coventry, hurts us. Even against Hunslet we came back and dominated the second half."

"The lads need to realise that they don't have to go behind in a game to take the pressure off and they need to believe in themselves from the very start. We react to going behind rather than trying to start games well!"

"It's not a fitness or skill thing, it is simply down to self belief. Not having a game this last weekendhas given us some time to work on that and once it comes, so will the results"

The Stags face a long trek to Cumbria on Sunday to take on Whitehaven before returning to Pennine Way on Good Friday for the local derby against London Skolars in a 2pm kick off.
